Yesterday a native German speaker was being helpful & told me that technically I shouldn't welcome someone to metalhead.club with "Willkommen am Metalhead.club" as it's not a real place.
Thing is, I don't believe the things I'm told on here as apparently:
Ingolstadt is a real place and not a fictional place where Frankenstein created his monster.
Bielefeld doesn't exist, it's an elaborate hoax.
So if anyone says metalhead.club isn't a real place I won't believe you

@Kitty I just write "Willkommen im Club" sometimes which can be a figure of speech (a bit like 'been there done that') or also refer to a real place or club. Anyways I think we've got a nice little club going here and I also think Thomas had this in mind when he picked the URL so all good
Edit: reread the thread and it might just be about grammar, you'd say "im" even for a place like a dance club and "am" for something like "market square" which would be "Marktplatz" in German. So just our language being weird again, sorry

and focusing on Bielefeld might be difficult? (Love this story, it reminds me of a happier time when conspiracy theories were just innocent fun)
