I'm Victoria. I'm an astrophysics and artist doing scientific/academic illustrations.
I've recently published a book on black holes with my own illustrations (only in German so far, sorry!) and when on holidays, I love making small watercolour paintings of things I encounter (often buildings, sometimes plants). I post my art under #VicisArt here.

I know what you mean... it takes years and years for me before envisaging the word "artist" as the proper use of what I had in the heart. In our society, and with our education, this is sometimes a "bad word" to use, so it takes time to struggle againt the frame they want to put us in.
