“Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.
Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.
Thank you to everyone who demanded freedom for Liam. We won’t stop until all children and families are home.” - U.S. Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-Texas)

Let's stop stupid. Pre 1965 there was a program called Brassaro. It bought up school bus loads of good workers from Mexico to tend our crops. It worked well. Till Caesar Chavez and Marie Huerta saw these workers getting shafted, bad housing, bad water, no schools for the kids, lousy pay. They went on strike and said 'at least you could treat us as human'.Corporations went ballistic, "Uppity Mexicans, Will make you illegal, send them home!!" Workers won!!! Sort of. -

Bad People take the Bad People Road, Drug People take the Drug People Road, some times they are mixed but not if the workers and asylum seekers have anything to say about it. As long as something is illegal you can't control it. So Keep up the good work & make All the People Illegal People so you never fix the problem. Well unless you want to support the Coyotes & massive amounts to build a wall. If the Great Wall of China didn't work, how do we think this puny one will? -

Very good to see this, but it makes me angry to see that something like this can happen with these thugs in charge that made this possible... eternal shame on Noem, Miller and Trump... this needs to have consequences.

I wish more of these kids could be saved. As I'm told there are a lot more kids like Liam in these camps. -

@BrianJopek A detail that makes a big difference: can you add quotation marks at the start ("Yesterday) and end ( home") of the quote?
While you name U.S. Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) who is the person who actually wrote this, clearly people are confused and think YOU picked Liam and Adrian up (see comments)
I was confused myself so it's easily done.
I don't usually do #grammar police but in this context, it does change meaning. -

Perhaps this demonstration of demanding freedom is only extended to brown and black criminals with children?

The health of Liam and each child kidnapped must be put on the front.
To think the world ever allowed these terrorists we call Law Enforcement to ever have the capacity to put a finger on anybody is enraging.
