TIL: The browser-based Mastodon client I've been using for a while, Semaphore (https://semaphore.social/), seems to be gone.

@matt It looks like the source repo is archived, with a comment at the top of the readme: https://github.com/NickColley/semaphore

It says it'll remain available as https://semaphore-social.vercel.app/ for as long as that doesn't cost money, but it sounds like it won't get any new features.

@matt I suppose that leaves us with the terribly named Enafore, which sounds like it should be the original Pinafore name with the P removed but starts with an E so I forget how to spell it every single time.

@jamesh @matt ah that explains why it always started with that Url when I opened it with the Laptop I rarely use.

@jscholes @matt if that was the only Problem I'd not say anything, but enafore is so broken since Quoteposts got into Mastodon and it seems like thats also abbandoned again because there were no Updates for a long time.
