        Okay, signed. Not because I think it will do any good, but as a sign of my dissatisfaction with what's currently going on in the world.
        You will never get anyone in government annoying football fans. All the petitions in the world won't make them change their minds.

            Exactly Shirley - your view and hopefully that of millions of others across the world. The argument that 'it won't do any good' is like the argument that a vote for a party that won't win is 'wasted'. We should all have learnt one clear thing from Farage: you can get what you want without ever getting to make the decision yourself - without ever actually winning formal power.

            These things are not win/lose - you can do some good without achieving the end result you hoped for - history is replete with examples of struggles that seemed to be frustrated, or utterly defeated - but in retrospect we see they were part of a movement that changed the world.
