@PsyChuan these are always my favorite clips to find, especially when it’s right as it’s happening (took me a while to figure out how to get them from my iPad to mastodon).
My basement cam usually gets an even better view of their shenanigans but these are solar-powered cameras and the basement one doesn’t get enough light to remain on this time of year

One time I was walking home from the grocery store and saw a big gray blur out of the corner of my eye and I thought, “kitty?” And I looked over to it and no, it was a big ol raccoon walking next to me, just being a friendly fellow minding its own business. It didn’t bother me and I didn’t bother it, and then we went on our separate merry ways.
Sometimes this town feels kinda magical.
