@alexanderdyas I literally have no stake in this issue. I've just heard so much bitching about LG, I thought I'd ask. I've never owned an Apple product, I'm not about to start now.

All I can say is: I don’t love my phone or its interface enough to get too worked up about it either way. Took a day or two to adjust and then faded into the background.

@nuintari I need to tolerate it, as the only alternative to Mac in my company is Windows and god forbid I use a copilot OS.

Frack, I'm about to get issued a company issued machine, and my choices will probably be Windows 11 or MacOS. I don't like either, but I'm even less thrilled about MacOS if it is just going to be hell on my eyes.

@nuintari yep, since the last major version. Weirdly, I’m mostly ok with it on iOS, but on Mac is an eyesore.

@nuintari I installed iOS 26 on my iPad to test it out and threw it in the closest within hours. Since I can't downgrade it's now useless to me. Now you can't pay me to upgrade my iPhone to 26.

@nuintari Grades for sleep. Last night I got 96%. I lost four points for waking up for less than a minute several times throughout the night. Tonight I have insomnia so I will fail sleeping.

@Bumblefish It'd probably score me about a 55%. I woke up at least three times last night, plus I tossed and turned for what seemed like hours.

@nuintari reducing it with accessibility settings where possible - thus not getting angry while using my phone (nor does any of my close relatives - heck - they didn't even realise anything changed ‍️)

I hate it, but i am forced to use it. Most detremental are all the functions that do not work propper anymore.

It feels like as if android and windows had a baby.

@nuintari Other: I’m putting myself in danger for not installing critical iPhone security fixes that are now forcibly bundled with iOS 26 for devices that can update to it. These vulnerability patches are available on iOS 18 but only for devices that can’t update to iOS 26. It’s a conscious decision Apple made to force the hand of people rightly dubious of Liquid Glass, and artificially prop up fledgling adoption numbers while endangering millions of users.

And I won’t have it. Not after the obsequious displays of fealty to Trump Apple exhibited all last year.
