Lower and middle class consumers spend a far higher percentage of disposable income buying basic items. This isn't hard to understand, but our USTR doesn't seem to.

@georgetakei most being done by the wealthiest people is failure, there are far more people who are not "the wealthiest", meaning a smaller total volume. These people have a retardation, of a mental nature.

@georgetakei It's a deliberate lie by Trump's Trade Rep, who knows tariffs are regressive taxes. He also knows the voters he's pitching to don't know what the phrase "regressive taxes" means but will buy the assertion that rich people spend more money without thinking about it at all.

So... he's on the list, right?
If you Trump, you're a creeper with short eyes 100%. Or an arbitrary 150% in this case.

US Trade Representative Greer demonstrates that, like Trump, he knows FA about economics or tariffs.

@georgetakei Trump seems to have chosen some of the most stupid people in the US to be in positions of power. This guy hasn't got a clue when it comes to who spends on what. The 99% are a far bigger group than the 1%.
