Is anybody in the thread talking to you? Does anybody in the thread follow you? Are you an expert on the thread topic?
If the answer to all three is "no", are you sure anybody wants to hear what you have to say on the topic?

Kind of the core lesson here, not everything online is for you, and that's ok. You're allowed to just read a thing and move on.
