How long are you active on the #Fediverse?

Just realised that I am active since the last 5 and something years.

I joined Diaspora a long time ago but since 2019 I started again.

For about as long as I have been running Rogue Project's Friendica which is just over a year.

I've also changed instance so this account is a bit younger

@stux Depends on what you mean with active. I joined over three years ago, but I was only lurking and reading posts in the first year and a half. Only after that I really started posting stuff (which weirdly coincides with getting my HRT. Go figure!).

@stux can't vote from friendica, but came over with the #gplusrefugee wave in early (march/april) 2019 converting to diaspora ..... later then switching to multi-protocol friendica.

@pattykimura @stux I have been on two servers that quit. It happens, unfortunately. But seeing as I don't want to start my own, I can hardly blame them I'm very happy with my current one, hope it stays a long time.

It does not matter what type of Instance you are on. If it federates then you have been on the #Fediverse. To be completely honest, if Mastodon was the only choice to be on the Fedi, I would not be here. I really do not like the micro-blogging format. That is why I never had or used Twitter.

@stux I didn't say over 3 because I thought I was coming up on my 3 year Fediversary. Then I realized it's 2026.
