AND HE *IS* THE BEST OF US.
I say this because I listened to ALL EIGHT HOURS.
It was never boring. The magats who questioned him were clearly intimidated.
Jim Jordan first tried to claim Smith was out to get Trump—why didn't he go after smaller fish first —like they usually do?
Smith replied that the insurrection was conceived, planned and instigated by Trump, and WITHOUT Trump, there would have been NO Jan 6th insurrection.
No one on the magat side challenged his statement. Instead, they asking for details from before Smith was appointed. He calmly replied, "I don't know", without explanations.
His honesty was kryptonite to the committee.

Instead of the full 8 hours I yesterday listened to this one by Allison Gill (mueller she wrote)
Way shorter ("only" 1 hour 46), but nonetheless impressive.

A couple of the 8 hours is blocked for "security" reasons, so it's actually less. And hearing his calm, as he gives Trump full and absolute responsibility for EVERYTHING that happened, is encouraging.
He's the guy full of rectitude and devotion to what is good and true, and he never slips. It's very worthwhile to hear him prevail 8 hours later, if you can spare the time.

Sadly I work in an office, and I cant watch youtube at work (Because of the noise and I have to concentrate on my work). Only at home in the evenings or at the weekends.
Maybe I will watch the full clip too, but the 1 h 46 was ok too, because it gave a bit explanations between the several parts of the hearing.edit:typo

Yeah, the bottom line is that Jack Smith foiled the tactics of the magats with strict professionalism, and uncontradictible answers.
It's good if you got the gist, but his devotion to the facts, and what was provable, was impressive to people who are being crushed by the suggestion that truth is relative, so only choosing sides matters.
The truth can be discredited and disapproved, but it can't be erased. And Jack Smith doesn't erase.
