Ich mach schon seit fast immer ein $HOME/tmp und linke $HOME/Downloads darauf. Nach jedem reboot wird das automatisch gelöscht.
Wenn ich einen Download behalten will, dann muss ich das halt sofort verschieben.
So vermeide ich viel Datenmüll.
