@BuyFromEU Sadly, many Europeans still do not realize this and are very prone to far right/ruzzian misinformation/propaganda.

@BuyFromEU A factor missing here is that there are many other powers - think Turkey. Russia, obviously. India, south America... they all can take advantage of the small EU countries - while we benefit hugely from being able to negotiate collectively.

And there's the internal market - the USA is so powerful because it has a single internal market. We (still) fail to create that same openness internally in the EU.

Of course the EU has its flaws, as any system but it's entirely crazy how certain parties manage to put sand in the gears of the EU's functioning, harming EU citizens including their voters, just to be able to turn around and say - "hey, see, the EU doesn't work, vote for us"!

Then again, Russia, Turkey, Venezuela... so many countries have made dumb decisions over their history
