Tobacco advertising wasn't banned to criminalize smokers, but because advertising normalizes/trivializes consumption and reaches new target groups. This same argument is now being applied to #meat. Meat advertising presents #animal use as natural, pleasurable, and culturally necessary, while systematically ignoring real consequences such as animal suffering, environmental destruction, health problems, and #climate impact.
