@leavex What happened to the 'verified' thing? Or is this a hypothetical?
@collectifission Maybe @seabass.bsky.social knows about it.

@leavex if I'm honest, none of those are reasons _to_ join a social network. I join networks where the people I want to talk to/follow are.
I'm not even especially worried about the ruling law. What I really care about is whether they take care, whether they respond reasonably to complaints and concerns, and whether they accept or promote unacceptable content. Everything else is a distant second.

@leavex It was a joke (with the first results in search). 🤫
I don't run after every new company or promise.
Mastodon is already pure Europe.
And Eurosky: "to launch their products faster, cheaper, and ready to scale": that's not social media. It's a technique for marketing and breaking prices.

@NatureMC I guessed so, but in case someone doesn't know, I added the link, which should have been added with the poll. My bad.

@leavex If you add it later to the poll, you destroy your results!

@NatureMC I know, that's why I just added a reply to the poll. I've made this mistake once.

@leavex can happen. And I'm sure that I'm the only one thinking about jets.

@leavex NO! At least not when there's the Fediverse! Same goes for Monnett, Wedium and WSocial!

@leavex Strange communication from the beginnining doesn't build trust: "...identity that works across the entire open social web..."
(they have *sky/atproto in mind, not a single mention of other open social web protocols like ActivityPub). So that's not 'entire'.
