I think Schumer, and _most_ of the Democratic leadership are out of their depth. The status quo is so wildly disrupted they're completely unequipped to handle it.
I said this the other day to @Remittancegirl : We need war-time leadership. These clowns are peace-time leadership at best, and complicit grifters at worst.
I want progressives leading the charge and the establishment Dems need to take their stock portfolios and retire.

I don't think she's announced anything. Schumer is up for re-election in 2028. I can't imagine he'd run again, and I do think it is her seat for the taking.
The only thing that might derail her is if Mamdani fails miserably. I believe that any successes that Mamdani has in NYC will
give ALL progressive Democrats and progressive ideas a boost.And I don't think he is going to fail miserably. New Mexico just voted for universal daycare. These are policies that make sense and can be enacted.

@therobburgessshow But it can be you! Get on the phone. Call any and every GOP Rep/Senator. Get a city and zip code for their district before calling. Refuse to give a street address because it isn’t safe to give that to a Republican.
After you tell them your message for the politician, remind the staffer that the Nazi’s also had secretarieis and admin assistants. That’s who they are now.
