No I mean the thing is fascists know they're voting for and supporting fascism. They might not be willing to say it out loud, but they know it (again, I was raised by a guy who would ABSOLUTELY be a Trumpbot today).
The difference between flailing, panicked, travshammockery Trump, and "literally Hitler" Trump is truly that 10% of the adult population who tells you things like "I voted for Trump because he gets pussy" and "he's a smart billionaire who will run the country like a business" etc

(The "voting age" part here is less about voting, and more about the fact that America hates its own children enough that young people have a noticeably suppressed effect on American discourse and political activity. It's not about elections; it's about the fact that if you're going to use the military to occupy your own country and make yourself God Emperor, you kinda need a certain percentage of the ppl to think that's a good idea and not fight it. History says it's about 40.)

So, put what I just said together:
If Trump needs at least 40% of the ppl to love nazism, and his natural base of fascists who will support him no matter what because he's a fascist too is more like 30-33%... that 7% of people who're dumb enough to be curious, are the hinge point between what you see now, and the literal 3rd Reich.
