Es gibt in Kiel den Verein Female Fronted Rock e. V., der es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, Frauen im Rock- und Metalbereich zu fördern, u..a. mit Workshops zu Bühnentechnik und Booking.Auch veranstaltet der Verein ein jährliches kleines Festival zum Thema, welches am 27. Februar 2026 zum dritten Mal stattfinden wird.
