@odiledemonicat This was a lovely essay!TBH, I was never much of a fan of the original either. The whole Christian stuff, wasn't my thing and the ending always made me feel sad. However, it is rightfully a work of world literature and asks a lot of deep questions.About Disney's dumbed down version, better draw the veil of silence.
