The Sacred Heart Church, Vernon (#Connecticut). 1971-2019The church was erected amid controversy, centring around its futuristic design. This towering seven-storey concrete pyramid (nicknamed “Cement Tent” and “St Cement”).By 1980, concrete began crumbling & raining down on the congregation 85ft below.
