February precipitation trends across the #Arctic show significant regional variability, as found in the GPCP dataset. Yet again, January temperatures were more than 5°C above the 1981-2010 climatology around Svalbard and the Barents Sea in the #Arctic. This coincided with a lack of sea ice, which is consistent with the long-term trend for this time of year.Data from https://doi.org/10.24381/cds.f17050d7
