@drj This is an official design? I thought the "ears" made with the vertical clipsed plate between four studs was an illegal technic?

@drj @usewriter I own several of those early LEGO horses as they have been included in some of my very first childhood sets. That’s exactly how I remember them being built. Plus a sticker was applied on each side of their head to mimic eyes.

@drj @usewriter You can see the eyes in this set review. I am very proud to still own exactly the set reviewed in the video. It is a very rare piece.
