@Vicky I faced a similar challenge 20 years ago when I lived in Tunisia. The best I could do at the time was say that I had no idea why the USA was doing what it was doing.

Being the default American - I hear you.. it's hard.. especially being from Texas - there's this pause while people look at you to decide if you're pro-trump. No. No, I am not. -
