In december, I accidentally (idiotically) ordered 2,5 kilos and not just 4 apples.

I am still dealing with this mistake.

@DanielleVossebeld last year my apple tree: 18 kg fruits. One tree. In a small garden. 🫣

I also found a Thousand Layer Cake (so, thousand layers of apple and just a little batter). Maybe I will try a tiny version of that next round (still have too many apples). .

@DanielleVossebeld I made jam for my family! With cinnamon, with ginger, with vanilla... many types of jam. And apple puree, apple sauce, apple cakes (many types of cakes). Fruit salad...

@Geisseltierchen That is a lot of cooking.
I don’t like jam, I have those small cups, using them while travelling. So, that is why these squares are perfect, needed to use the last ones of the old batch.

I am going to try cake the next time. Thousand layer cake. Do you know that one?
