I don't mind Europeans commenting on US politics
except for one issue:
3rd parties
3rd parties work in their systems
3rd parties do not work in the US FPTP voting system (yes UK has FPTP, but they also have parliamentary which lends some stability and viability to 3rd parties the USA doesn't have)
if the USA is to have 3rd parties, we need a new voting system, like ranked choice
Until then:
Please world, shut the fuck about 3rd parties in the USA

Yup. Meanwhile multi-party Europe has elected avowedly fascist Russia and Hungary and has rising fascists multi-party groups in most of the rest. The fascist Reform UK is surging in local polls overtaking the Tories and Labor.
As is true of the narrow-sighted, you believe that one single election system change is the magic bullet. This leads to naive somnolence and allows the fascist populist, nativist, xenophobic, racist, misogynist parties to band together and march in. The selfish refusal of left and center left parties to band together is another glaring failure in the multi-party system to fight fascism.
