I’m under no pretense that voting against 1b will make any difference in the company’s direction, but it sure felt right.

@chockenberry I’m right there with you. I don’t think it’ll make any difference, but I think there may actually be a noticeable number who might vote that way.

If you’re an Apple shareholder, consider voting against Tim Cook at this year’s meeting.
Takes less than a minute to do online and if enough smaller investors do, it sends a message that there are some things that are a hell of a lot more important than money.

@chockenberry I was just asking how Tim would like to be remembered. Let's make answering that question urgent!

@chockenberry I actually voted against the entire board—not just Cook. Not that it will make any difference, but maybe it will help send a message that they’re not steering the ship in a positive direction.

@monkeydom @chockenberry One gets notified about the agenda and the votable topics? I guess I have non-vote shares.

@chockenberry Been a shareholder for over 15 years and never even knew how to vote but you motivated me to figure it out. I just wish my handful of shares could do more than send a message.
Thanks!

It’s like the old saying: “What use is it to have fuck-off amounts of money if you never tell anyone to fuck off?”
Apple has fuck-off amounts of money.

@chockenberry Better than that, dump your AAPL shares and prove there’s things more important than money.
They won’t listen to shareholder votes - they never have. Tim Cook has become a fascist-supporting ghoul. -
