@jyn It feels like at this point the industry has lobotomized itself with nonsense so hard it will basically need to be rebuilt from scratch anyway, but on the plus side maybe we can actually address this this time

@jyn I saw the other day a letter from Valve to a kid that they don't hire entry level, only senior. And I was very underwhelmed. Like, let everyone else do the schooling and training and not just not contribute but openly announce it.

Valve has always kinda been like that though. It's a retirement job, a place where a clique of industry veterans who all know each other can spend the last years of their careers.
