@yngmar Farmer's markets are not much of a thing here (at least in none of the cities I've lived in). You get markets, but you are assuredly not buying direct from the producers. Sometimes you're directly buying exactly the same thing as what you get in the supermarket, plastic packaging and all

(no bankruptcy, the farmer was apparently paid for this but the buyer didn't want the potatoes anymore so they are giving them away for free)
