My opinion:
The idea of designing the user interface entirely around AI-interpreted speech recognition and taking control of users' data and their systems away from them is dystopian. It means taking away users' property, and that sholuld be seen as illegal.
Let's hope that Microsoft can revert to a user-centered approach before this comic becomes reality!#ai #meme #microsoft #strategy #user #linux #win11 #endof10 #just4fun #endof11

@sponux let's hope not, because the future with FOSS is better. Microsoft, as a company, must put the financial gains first.
I see it as a good thing, that besides being expensive with forecast to even increase prices, they are also delivering poor quality. If their product would be half decent, there might be room for doubts if FOSS is the way to go, but in 2026 onwards only idiots stay with them.

I fully agree with you, that the future is better with FOSS. I am enjoying linux since nine years and I can only recommend the good feeling to own my system. All organizations and users should switch switch to Linux and FOSS.
Nevertheless Microsoft has a huge market share and many organizations are dependant on them. As addicted entities and users, they cannot simply change.
So in fact I have two wishes:
1. Linux has to grow
2. Microsoft should return to a stable and non-intrusive OS. -
