My go-to SearXNG public instance is no longer available. If anyone has any alternative recommendations, I’d appreciate them!

I’m also curious if anyone would be interested in collaboratively managing a server as a co-op. If that's you, please reach out!

Closest thing I can find to this is hopniss.net run by @bunkcomputer – a worker co-op in Western North Carolina. But I imagine it's hosted in the US...

@syhr Yes Hopniss is physically hosted the US! Totally understand if someone doesn't want to use it on that basis.

We choose to host all our stuff in the US, despite the legal and privacy downsides, because it's where all the coop members are physically located. And we prefer to be forced to contend with the reality of the place that we live and its constraints.
