@masek Thing about getting rid of an autocrat is that the power structure has to want to prosecute them. If those in power but below the autocrat are with the autocrat then it'll never happen as long as they're around, becomes more a "root and branch" removal at that point which is considerably more difficult.

@nini @masek yup. While there ARE Legal instruments and devices to remove a autocrat-wanna-be from power, the autocrat often reaches power BECAUSE a power base of sycophants - usually the people who could remove them, legally, from power - supports their rise.
Law reflects the legislators' tendencies, and fickle will of People who vote them in. Law is only valid if people are willing to defend and enforce it, otherwise it's just ink on paper.
