Carrying on from my original kitten post, which started a few posts back from here:

Tri tone fur after combing Supervisor then the kittens. The babies are getting much better at grooming now. My lad wriggles around with joy so you just comb whatever you can as he moves around so much. Tabby has much thinner fur so she's done very gently.

My little boy got very chirpy today. He chirrups when he's on the cat post, because then he wants me to come over and pat him. He still won't approach me for pats, I have to come to him. So I picked him up and took him to a chair and sat him down in my lap. Then rubbed his tummy and for once he didn't try to get off me but settled down and enjoyed it and went to sleep. Usually he only wants touching when on the post. Little steps. His sister constantly gets in my lap when I sit down.

The babies get snackies most days because they are babies and burn through a lot of energy. Supervisor's finally cottoned on that this is also cat food, so I can finally expand her food intake with some other cat food. Before the babies came along she'd sniff any snacks and walk off, convinced it wasn't edible. She just ate some different ones tonight that she's ignored in the past.

The babies hoover up everything, they're not picky.

Got back from the pool, so the kittens could snort some chlorine. They hoovered down brekky so they got some kitten milk as well. That vanished in seconds and has energised them into chasing each other from one end of the place to another. Wrestling, charging, jumping, it's all very energetic. He could hurt her because he's so much stronger and bigger but still prat falls when she jumps him and is so gentle with his sister. I love their dynamic. A pair of loving goofballs.

Someone's decided that a little flying disc gun is the best kitten toy ever and nags me to shoot tiny discs all the time.

I did get some time with my little boy. Well, not so little anymore but still likes a snuggle in my lap. And endless belly rubs.

Have had to hide the weapons and bag of discs as my tabby friend is thoroughly addicted. She got into the bag today and left discs all over my desk, I am still finding them shoved under things. She needs playtime with discs but with set times and rules now. She knocked one of the disc guns off and pushed it under furniture trying to get the discs out, yesterday.

Supervisor went to lunge at tabby but then sat down when I looked at her. She's still being a bit bitchy to them but it's a massive improvement on her behaviour months ago.

There is a fly in here and the kittens have gone mad with joy trying to catch it. The leaping and sprinting going on here.

No idea if they eventually caught it but it did occupy them for a few hours and they are now having a well earned, post dinner, snooze in the windowsill. Talk about a work out.

It's Friyay! Everyone got their brekky. The kittens ask me very politely when they feel they need some milk as well as brekky. They just hang out and look at me, rub things and linger until I get the message. No meowing or squeaking, just waiting patiently. Then I get the carton and they start the swirl. I suspect my boy drinks more of it than my little girl. At twelve months they're both healthy, strong and fit, and very happy babies.

Saturyay morning, everyone's been fed. My lad's filed with energy from this and has been sprinting back and forth for the past ten minutes. Any money he'll ask me for some milk soon, to top up the fuel tanks.

Found my mate on the couch, sat down. She immediately climbs on board.

Another fly flew inside. The kittens went mad scampering after it for an hour or so. Then I gave them some dinner.

Post dinner quietness.

Then suddenly little tabby girl leaps off the couch and runs in here and SNATCH she's caught the fly. Chomp chomp and gone. ‍️ Her brother catches up and the two sit there and look around expectantly, hoping for another delicious flying snack.

Babies are now wrestling on the new rug. Supervisor is watching angrily from a distance.

Turf wars have been happening with the new mat whilst we were out today. It moved around a lot, then another mat got hauled on top. Tabby was laying on it before but Supervisor charged up and chased her off it then spread out across it as much as she could.

This morning my lad was underneath it and his sister jumped on top to playfight. I think they like it.

God knows what was in their brekky but the kittens have the mads this morning. Although one of them did find a golf ball and rolled it across the floor loudly around 5am. There's been a lot of chasing and charging about, and landing on furniture then leaping off again. They did need two lots of kitten milk this morning, which is unusual. Extra fuel for the crazies.
