It's that time again

Went by a carpet place and got 4 of these for the kitties to maul.

I love how these two are still so inseparable.

Supervisor finishes her dinner under careful watch

The kittens have the mad friskies happening, galloping around the place. They started after brekky, chasing each other up and down the place. Even though they eat so much, they don't put on weight from all the playing and exercise. Last night my lad had the mads and blasted through the joint, scattering toys in his wake. Supervisor looked shocked, his sister just sat and waited it out. Both babies love chasing balls and toys I toss. She brings back sparkle balls occasionally.

Here to hinder me making the bed

Supervisor only got off my bed once it was near dinner time. So she had to wait for that whilst I finished making the bed. The kittens lurked under the bed at the time, they like lurking in my bedroom and occasionally getting on the bed. But never at bedtime, they know it's Supervisor's bed, not theirs.

I see some wet pawprints on the floor, and follow them into the bathroom. There's been a small leak down the fan duct with the rain and my lad's been sitting in the puddle, splattering it all around. He's got a thing with water. Not to drink it but to paw at it and splash it everywhere. Little weirdo.

I made myself a miso, which the herd took to mean it was snackies time. They got snackies and then the kittens brawled all over the place for a while. Supervisor went back to Narnia for some peace and quiet. Tabby took a short break before they went back at it, chasing each other around the house.

The sun is out, sleeping is happening.

It's been an emotional day. The kittens found a moth this morning and I left them chasing it around as I went for my walk. I tried to save it, but it disappeared as I shooed the kittens off it.

Now a fly has appeared up here and there's lots of galloping about trying to catch it. Also tiny squeaks of frustration as it flies above them.

Supervisor had some late lunch under the watchful eye of her brother, who then bopped her on the head rudely, for not eating fast enough.

Attempting to weigh the herd tonight. Got Supervisor into a shopping bag easily, lifted and hung off a luggage scale. She's put on some weight since she was weighed at the vets. Now 4.05kg, up from 3.7kg. Which is great, but not her usual 4.2kg yet.

Try putting tabby in the bag, hold it up and go to grab the scale. Tabby wriggles out of the bag, lands on the floor and looks startled. Her brother, watching all this, is horrified. They both run off. This will take a while. ‍️

This is a combo wrestling/washing each other move.

Supervisor feels very strongly that at 3:15pm, it's dinner time. The kittens tend to agree but are currently distracted by sprinting through the place. I've told Supervisor she's very early but she doesn't believe me.

Lazy evening. Tabby is sleeping in a windowsill.

Always watching each other

His sister's in the box. They like poking at each other via a small hole.

You can see where Supervisor has worn a hole in this rug, but it's such a fun game, I can't replace it.
