The babies hanging out with me on this nice sunny Sunday afternoon. They hit nine months of age this week. It's been seven months since they adopted us.

We watched a movie and my lad, who was playing chase the laser dot, decided dragging the rug across the room was more fun. He's hauled it to my chair and shoved it up against it. Because why not.

The babies hoovered up their breakfast and then spent the next twenty minutes crashing through tunnels and chasing each other around. Now napping in the washing machine box. Supervisor was not amused by the racket. I think she's gone to Narnia.

Got home from the office to discover my partner had not given Supervisor the rest of her breakfast. I let the kittens have it, to clear it up and they aren't picky. Supervisor would not have liked it all dried out. However Supervisor did give me a shocked and aghast look for offering her food to those interlopers. She is now happy again as she got a cleaned bowl and some fresh food for dinner.

The kittens ate her food then devoured dinner.

She's got her Dulux puppy for a snuggle buddy

The babies are starving to death this morning, having only had 3 brekkies between them. So they are now hitting up my partner for some bread, and trying to steal it.

The struggle is real

SO THIS HAPPENED

SUPERVISOR JUST CASUALLY GOT UP THERE AND SAT THERE AND THE KITTENS JUST WENT TO SLEEP 🤯

Supervisor sat with the babies for about five mins before casually getting down and going to the cat bed. I am still amazed it happened. No hissing, no fighting, no paws flailing. Just all on the couch at once, peacefully.

My little tabby friend is getting used to getting combed and just sat and purred whilst I gave her a gentle combing. Her fur is still too thin for a brushing but did manage to get lots of loose stuff out. Still to convince her brother grooming is nice.

She was on the post so he had to get up there and push her off

From last night. He was artistically modifying the roof again as his sister watched. Supervisor was a bit concerned the sky might fall in.

Got home to my Supervisor wailing from malnourishment. It's bin night so I had to clean the litter trays first which was even more devastating. Now the kittens, having had dinner, have the mad gallops and Supervisor is hunched over nearby, watching closely.

We were playing chase the laser dot when Supervisor interrupted to give him greasy looks so the kittens retreated to the palace.

I am overwhelmed with supervisors today

Supervisor's in a weird, frisky mood. Was having a mad scamper then decided to chase the kittens. I think she's sort of trying to play with them, they're as confused as we are watching. She runs after them and pokes them. Don't forget she didn't know how to play when she joined us, this will take a while to figure out.

The rug is slowly moving towards the kitchen tonight
