    @SecondUniverse @thomasfuchs

    Musk is really happy that people have mostly stopped talking about him sitting there on Christmas morning with his family and emailing Epstein to try and get back on to pedo Island or later begging to go back and being told "oh no we closed it sorry can't invite you"

    @gbargoud @thomasfuchs Yes I read those emails. Musk asked when is the best wild party, and Epstein's underling replied that they had closed "the operation". Describing what they were doing as an "operation" makes it sound so much worse - a meat grinder for children.

          Yeah those emails were truly vile and it's quite the coincidence that Elon Musk has been making so many wild scam announcements that immediately make the news right after a bunch of them were released with his name in.

            @thomasfuchs although you have to admit the concept of a Dyson sphere is pretty cool. The reality, perhaps not so much.

              @chardlee Dyson spheres are lliterally a joke, as in Dyson published a paper that made fun of other physicists.

                  @gbargoud @SecondUniverse @thomasfuchs other than all the horribleness I have to say that it’s something that even Mr. Epstein of all people was like “I can’t even with this guy”

                          @thomasfuchs In Australia we call it a "bottom of the harbour scheme" after an infamous scam where people were sold land that was under the sea in Sydney Harbour.

                                        @thomasfuchs Wait did someone actually float the idea of a Dyson sphere? And they pretended to be serious?

                                          Back in the 90s we had a great term for stuff like “building AI satellite factories on the Moon” and “we’ll just envelop the solar system with a Dyson Sphere”.

                                          It’s pretty technical and I forgive you if you’ve never heard of it, the term is “investment scam”.

                                          @thomasfuchs If you believe in AI data centers or 180km long cities in the desert, I have a bridge to sell you.
