@Theblueone @anneapplebaum If I remember correctly, there was already massive voter suppression of Florida's black population when it was the state that decided George W. Bush's first election.
This is not new, they are just taking it to new levels.

Exactly this! There has been voter suppression in this country since the begining. First only white land owners could vote, then you had literacy tests, then the Jim Crow laws that prevented black Americans from voting, so on and so on. This isn't new they just aren't trying to hide it anymore.
