Mstdn.games is searching for a new hosting company after our host has not responded to technical help requests and the instance has been slowing and having technical issues for over a month. Auto payments have continued to be taken out.

If you know of anyone who could help with this, please contact me asap.

We are on Mastodon 4.5.5 with Elasticsearch.

Our database is 132 GB
Our media storage is 200 GB

Edit: I’m located in Canada and prefer a Canadian or EU host.

@britt I've used Digital Ocean before. I hope it's not them. They have turnkey mastodon servers.

Another option I've seen people like is OVHcloud.

My server (serving PeerTube, Faircamp and jitsi-meet, a chat server) is currently in my living room on a 2GB line. I've been meaning to move it to a data center, and have looked at OVHcloud's pricing (mostly for dedicated hardware). Very reasonable.

I have no recent experience with either.

@britt If you need cheap S3 check out Object Storage at #Hetzner (https://hetzner.com) All your Data stored for €5.99. I run a nginx server as proxy and cache to safe Traffic. Works great so far! For a working config, DM me.

You can get a Server to handle the database and system, too, but maybe you have to use the Helsinki data-center as they are quite sold out currently. Everyone is fleeing the US.

May I ask you why? So you've been having technical issues for a month, the customer service isn't reaponding and they keep on happily billing you.

Hate to break this to you, but it sounds like you're being screwed over. By naming the hosting provider you would lessen the chances of someone else ending up in your situation.
