I'm electrician too (in Finland) and I've never seen a socket with internal fuse. Funny and interesting how much practises differs. We also consider screw terminals as grumpy and old. Especially with minus/flat head.

@krijnsoeteman we are just that safe here. There's about 15 safety features designed into our plugs. It's just a shame they're worse than Lego when it comes to standing on one in the night.

@kuulman it's because the screws are brass. Being a fairly soft metal it doesn't take a countersink very well and cams out easily damaging the screw.

No, a duplicate explanation of what the code is doing is not what comments are for.

Comments are more for "why" one method or choice than another, sometimes "why not", than "what".

Except doc comments, which are closer to spec i.e. "what". The code itself is "how", and it doesn't necessarily come via a verbal description in natural language.
