@kunsi airgradient ticks almost all the boxes, without light level though: https://www.airgradient.com/outdoor/

DuckDuckFedi i want to (ideally) buy or build a weather station.

      Sensors i need:
      - Temperature
      - Humidity
      - Pressure
      - PM 2.5
      - PM10
      - light level

      Optional:
      - amount of rain
      - CO2

I also want wifi or zigbee connectivity. Must work without internet connection and with home assistant.

Is there anything available to purchase that has all i need? If not, what parts do i want to buy to build one?

@kunsi the ecowitt stuff is what I have and we also use it for EMF - genuinely good quality and decent value: https://www.ecowitt.com

There's a local Home Assistant integration for it, and there's also a MQTT bridge which is what I use: https://github.com/bachya/ecowitt2mqtt

@kunsi There is also ribbit Network Hardware that might be hackable / expandable as well: https://ribbit-network.github.io/ribbit-network-frog-hardware/

@kunsi @russss I run some ecowitt outdoor sensor and that's working well (I use the integration but will check the mqtt bridge - thanks for the hint!). So long haven't splurged on the full weather station, but have been tempted a few times.

Last September I created a gill shield for a cheap Aqara indoor environmental sensor (temperature, humidity, pressure via zigbee), and to my utmost surprise that is still running just fine too.

@foosel @kunsi the MQTT bridge can emit Home Assistant compatible messages too, so you can use it to do HA and also other stuff.

(I wrote a converter for the MADIS/APRS network so my weather station is on windy.com: https://www.windy.com/station/madis-AV975?51.530,-0.073,11,p:temp)

@kunsi solar as well - batteries are only used at night and it's *very* efficient. Haven't changed the batteries in mine for nearly 4 years.

@kunsi there are some guides here: https://sensor.community/en/sensors/ but you‘ll probably need to adjust a bit
