The apps are different, Loops is more oriented for people that are into short-video format (akin to Tiktok or Instagram Reels), and allows to reach people faster with one's content, and allows for faster connection. The app also has a sense of community. Whereas long-format such as PeerTube can be used for a bit longer videos, that are more worked out, and are meant to be viewed for a longer period of time
