@phillip bekommt man für zu Hause überhaupt Internetverträge ohne Telefonanschluss? Ich glaube nicht.
Ich habe nur ein Wählscheibentefelon (so ein hübsches grünes) aber mein Konverter von Impuls zu Ton hat schon vor Jahren aufgehört zu funktionieren, also hab ich kein Telefon amgeschlossen.@zetthochdrei na klar bekommt man das

Eine Festnetznummer ist doch praktisch bei allen DSL/Kabel/Glasfaseranschlüssen automatisch mit dabei. -

@phillip I don't know if this is how it works in Germany. But, here in the U.S. if I have an emergency, my landline will locate me immediately for emergency services. This can be critical in getting life-saving care. With a cell phone, you must be able to give dispatch your address, and you will probably have your call transferred or even end up on hold.

Nicht? Das ist ja schön. Als ich meinen bei Vodafone gebucht habe (2018), gab's nur Tarife mit Festnetznummer. Man muss die aber gar nicht nutzen. -

Habe ich auch so nicht gelesen. Ich wusste das nur wirklich nicht, weil ich lange nicht den Provider gewechselt habe. Bei mir hängt tatsächlich noch ein Telefon dran, das ungefähr 2 x im Monat klingelt. -

So eine Art Festnetznummer hätte ich, wenn meine Fritzbox die annehmen würde. 7490 ist wohl zu alt. Vielleicht kennt das hier eine/r? Und die Lösung auch? -

@phillip Ganz definitiv! Unser Mietshaus ist so gut isoliert, dass da kaum LTE oder 5-G-Signal ankommt. Für eine stabile Internetverbindung zu Hause brauchen wir definitiv Festnetz, und da das auch mit Telefonnummern kommt, sind die theoretisch auch noch erreichbar. Ich nutze sie nur kaum noch für irgend etwas.
