Remember "don't print this email" in signatures that was a bit cringe? It doesn't feel that cringe anymore in retrospect. I'm doing an experiment now with this new email signature

@mntmn I would substitute "AI" with "LLM", but otherwise spot on!

@mntmn honestly, I'd just prefer not having to read through tons of nonsense to actually get to the point of the email. It's such wordy nonsense.

@mntmn ah I love this! I always thought the "don't print this email" message was wild, why would anyone print an email? And then a year ago I got a job at a warehouse where the boss (my age, mid 30s) printed SO MANY EMAILS. I had never seen anything like it and I could not dissuade her from doing it. Nor could I convince her to digitize paper records. Nor could I convince her not to use ChatGPT. I quit that job.
@Doodlelegs @mntmn a former colleague of mine printed out emails and stored them in plastic folders. Never interact with him anymore so I don’t know if he (ab)uses AI tools
