@yatil Oh my.
In what context did you hear or read that?
Please forgive me for the following, I just really kind of enjoyed it:
A fun challenge is to create an interesting yet accessible email signature in pure HTML and test in on different devices and screen readers.
Aria labels seem to work just fine.
If you succeed, you may be rewarded with an actually functional signature that doesn't rely on external images to work, looks nice, and dare I say, is more sustainable and accessible?

@oldrup LinkedIn, of course.

And yeah, it is actually relative easy and very possible to not only make emails accessible but also to make WCAG testing work with it. *sigh*

@yatil It just recently occurred to me that screen readers comprehend semantic HTML emails, so I can navigate to headings, lists landmarks like the signature, just fine.
Trying to create some templates for the boss so we maybe can send plain, accessible emails instead of PDF attachments all the time.
We still work on accepting that the signature is not a "real" scanned one, but I think we will get there eventually.

@yatil Wow, excuses! Mail is simple, html never hurt a soul, well, unless it was coded badly, but why complicate emails with things when you can make them all simple. Simplify things, linkedin humans. that also sounds like, well like, someone didn't do their research into formatting, screen readers, and a lot more of that plus WCAG.

@yatil legitimately made me laugh out loud
