@adwright my mom died at the age of 57 from cervical cancer…she was too far gone by the time they found it…it’s a tragedy no one & no family should have to live thru. I know she didn’t have the vaccine- it was so new back then that we had barely begun to hear about it. But today there’s no reason not to protect yourself.
I'm so sorry for your loss. The anniversary of my mother's death recently passed.
It's up to us to live on, for them.

This is the kind of thing I was talking about with the 'people who follow God's covenant' stuff being morally inferior to those very rare sincerely good people.
One could say things about that lot and its history of fatality-making misogyny but at least people can walk away from it and live freely these days unlike before.

@kkarhan RIP my friend Patrick O'Keefe who died from cancer due to the HPV virus. His wife and children have gotten the HPV vaccine. His wife was in her late 40's when she insisted to her Dr. that she get the vaccine, even though it was only recommended to those much younger.

@adwright And men's tonsil cancer, which I got and had to undergo radiation and chemotherapy and suffer through all that entails, and continue to suffer. All because I didn't get an HPV vaccination.

@adwright has it got to 100%? Last I heard it was about 90%. I'll have to look into this.
Also I thought it only covered 9 common strains but there are over 100 floating around out there.
I get the spirit of your point. (My grandfather was a public health director.) But when I see a 100% number for anything I become suspicious.
Am I misinformed?
