Exciting milestone for astronomy: construction of CTAO-South has kicked off

The Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory will be the world’s largest and most powerful gamma-ray observatory. It will observe the most energetic phenomena in the Universe from two sites: CTAO-South at ESO’s Paranal Observatory and CTAO-North in the Canary Islands.
