Salesforce did just layoff almost 1000 people at the beginning of the month. (https://www.businessinsider.com/salesforce-cuts-jobs-executive-changes-2026-2). He does this now that people are rattled, how fucked up.

I remember the closing lines of the NYT piece on the same subject:At the end of the interview, [Benioff] turned to a public relations executive. He could be heard asking why her mouth was wide open and if he had said anything he shouldn’t have.
“What about the political questions?” he asked. “Too spicy?”
Then he hung up.
They really live in a different reality -- where all the tragedy they're causing is just part of some sports-event or something. Reality TV.

@mathowie I'm not surprised at all I did a training for a nonprofit that worked with Salesforce and the white cis het guy in the training from Salesforce was always making the worst comments to a room full of Black, Brown, Immigrant, Trans & Queer folks (and some of us belonging to multiple of those community) while inside of an NPO office that focused on immigration & that was in 2016.
