Was feeling a bit glum earlier, pocket chums. So I decided to go and sort some LEGO pieces to put away into my parts collection. My build room was in a very big muddle with no room to do anything, which meant I couldn't build for stress relief either. It's improving, but still a lot to do. However, one step at a time, eh?

@Pepijn yes. Mine has been like this for months and months. And it's been getting me down so much that I have hardly set foot in it much. Which is obviously a huge blocker to creativity

@cazmockett Yeah. I've had periods like that. It's fricking difficult to "fix".
Just curious: On the left I see a grey lego themed mat with only a small amount of mostly empty boxes. Is that your normal "workstation"?

@Pepijn yes. It's a pretty small surface at the best of times, and so it is *really* easy for it to get cluttered.

It's amazing what a bit of a tidy up can do for creativity. After Saturday's plodding along putting stuff away, I got inspired with a crazy idea (well two, actually) and made enough room on the build table to make a start. Just testing the mechanism for now, but I think it will work out. But I need to buy more chain links! Better hit up Bricklink. Not telling what it is yet, but feel free to have a guess! And I think I'm over my #MOCBlock for the moment.
