I experience a lot of compersion and I experience a similar feeling in other fields of my life:
A fellow author gets bestselling status or wins a literature prize? I may be a bit envious, but mostly, I cheer for them.
A friend has had a nice vacation abroad?
Tell me all about it.A relative has had a good time at a party?
I enjoy hearing about it.Someone tells me about a hobby they love and I cannot relate? It doesn't matter, I feel happy for them nontheless.
