What actions have they taken?
@MagnusIdode my former supervisor helped develop the black@apple affinity group for at home employees and then mentored me on how to help start the pride@apple group. Then after many years when I lost my next job and was down on my luck she was one of the only people who encouraged me to keep trying because she knew what it was like to feel abandoned by society from a lifetime of being treated like garbage. And she’s still one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met. And she’s just one of many black women who have helped me because they had empathy and didn’t want to see someone suffer or struggle - even if I had privilege they didn’t have. They know what it’s like to be a team and to love someone and be loyal. My own parents didn’t even do that. That’s just one of my many experiences - but all of them have been important to me.
That’s many MANY actions that one black woman took for one person. So there ya go!
