Since the murder of two Minneapolis residents (Renee Good and Alex Pretti) by Federal immigration agents, a noticeable change in communication has emerged. I just made a run to the nearby liquor store which is typical :
Greeting & response: "How are you?" "Alright."
Goodbye: "Be safe." "Yeah, you too."
This is NOT the way Minnesotans talked to each other before yesterday.

@MNSpy I’ve heard in response “we don’t ask how are you anymore, everyone’s doing poorly, we ask how are you holding up, do you need any help?”
